The Liberty are well-represented among this season’s All-WNBA honorees, with Breanna Stewart unanimously selected for the first team and Sabrina Ionescu chosen for the second team, the league announced Sunday.

Stewart, the 2023 WNBA MVP, is one of three unanimous selections for the first team along with Aces center A’ja Wilson and Sun forward Alyssa Thomas. Lynx star Napheesa Collier and Wings star Satou Sabally round out the first-team lineup.

Players were selected without regard for position based on the votes from 60 ballots by a national panel of broadcasters and sportswriters. Players received five points for each first-team vote and three points for each second-team vote. Voting concluded at the end of the regular season.

Stewart, Wilson and Thomas each earned the maximum 300 points, while Collier received 236 and Sabally got 186.

Sabrina Ionescu (143) is joined on the second team Seattle’s Jewell Loyd (158), Los Angeles’ Nneka Ogwumike (168), and Las Vegas’ Chelsea Gray (159) and Jackie Young (163).

Stewart was selected to the first team for the fourth consecutive season and fifth time in her career. The accolade comes after a season in which she averaged 23 points, nine rebounds and four assists per game. She also was selected to the All-Defensive First Team — along with Wilson and Thomas — and carried her team to the WNBA Finals.

Wilson’s third first-team selection comes after winning Defensive Player of the Year with the Aces. Wilson averaged 23 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks per game this season.

Thomas made her first-team debut after setting a WNBA single-season record for triple-doubles (six) and double-doubles (28) while leading the league in rebounds per game (9.9) and ranking second in assists per game (7.9).

This is the second time Collier made an All-WNBA team and her first time making the first team. Sabally was selected to an All-WNBA team for the first time in her career.

Ogwumike is now a six-time All-WNBA selection. Gray and Loyd, the league’s leading scorer per game (24.7), have now made the team for the third time. Ionescu is now a two-time selection and Jackie Young made the team for the first time.
